Poplar Creek Retreat is a vacation cabin rental located approximately 30 miles up the Gunflint Trail from Grand Marais, Minnesota. Situated in Poplar Creek Commons, you will enjoy direct access to the best the boundary waters have to offer! Approximately 60 rods from the back door, and down a beautiful trail along Poplar Creek, you will find nearly 500 feet of shared shoreline with a dock on Little Ollie Lake, which is the southeastern bay of Poplar Lake. Whether your intentions are to fish for smallies off the dock, venture down the Lizz or Swamp Lake portages, or simply relax with the hope of watching moose, there is something for everyone. In the winter, grab your cross-country skis, walk out the front door, and within minutes you are on the Banadad Ski Trail. There are few better ways to enjoy the Gunflint Trail in Northern Minnesota!
